- Coming from the north? Take the A1 Autobahn from Hamburg-Bremen or the A2 from Hanover.
- From the East take the A44 from Kassel.
- Coming from the South take the A3 from Frankfurt.
- If travelling from the West take the A44 and A46 via Aachen from Belgium, Luxembourg or southern Netherlands; from the northern Netherlands use the A3, A44, A52 or A61.

Low emission zone of Düsseldorf
Since 15 February 2009 the state capital Düsseldorf has a low emission zone. Since that time cars with an emissions decal only are allowed to enter the intra-urban area. Detailed information about the low emission zone, the badge requirement and in particular about the derogations, as well as a map of the affected streets can be found here in detail.
Take the U78 (underground) with direction to ESPRIT Arena/Messe Nord and get off at the final stop (ESPRIT Arena/Messe Nord).
