Magnesium Area

Magnesium plays an important role for regarding the hardening of aluminium alloys.

The Magnesium Area is a joined area which focuses on magnesium and is centrally located in Hall 1A. Within a space of over 300 sqm about 20 exhibitors present themselves in the following segments:

raw material
semi-finished and finished products
surface treatment
producers of machinery and plant
equipment for magnesium processing and manufacturing for example cast and finishing of magnesium manufactures and the corresponding services

The Magnesium Area presents a pavilion of the EFM European Research Association for Magnesium e.V. and individual spaces.

Moreover you will find a demonstration area in which material properties and processes will be presented.
