The first ALUMINIUM INDIA in Mumbai was a success. From 22 to 24 February, 124 international exhibitors showed their products and innovations around the material aluminium. With 1,670 trade visitors, the premiere of ALUMINIUM INDIA fully met expectations.

Among the companies presenting themselves at the largest industry platform on the Indian subcontinent were the key players HINDALCO, BALCO, NALCO, Pyrotek, Fata Hunter and Wagstaff. More than half of all exhibitors came from abroad, with the strongest foreign trade fair contingent originating from Germany. A total of 13 German companies presented themselves at ALUMINIUM INDIA, among them BWG, Elster Kromschröder, KAMPF Schneid- und Wickeltechnik, Erbslöh Aluminium and Höcker Polytechnik.

ALUMINIUM INDIA was accompanied by Alcastek, the internationally renowned conference featuring aluminium casting, rolling and extrusion technologies which had brought 255 participants from all over the world to Mumbai.

With ALUMINUM INDIA, the organiser Reed Exhibitions added one of the most important markets to its worldwide range of aluminium fairs. “We launched the right trade fair at the right time on the right market“ said Britta Wirtz, the Director responsible for the ALUMINIUM fairs organised by Reed Exhibitions.
