Influential international companies like United Company RUSAL, ALCOA, DUBAL, Aleris, MITSUI, Novelis, Furukawa-Sky, SMS group, Siemens VAI, Wagstaff, Pyrotek, Fata hunter, Otto Junker, Granco Clark and over 150 other well known international companies have arrived to showcase the industry’s latest technology, services and products from raw materials, machinery and equipment all the way down to finished products. Local companies led by China’s flagship aluminium corporation, the Aluminium Corporation of China (CHALCO) present a selection that truly reflects the country’s latest developments and best production capabilities. Well known brands like Asia Aluminum, Zhongwang, Nanshan, Conglin, Kamkiu, Guangya, Haomei, Kingle, Xingya, Weiye, Xinren and many more have came away this year with tremendously satisfying results.
Over 40% of the available stands for ALUMINIUM CHINA 2008 were sold onsite by the 3rd day with additional stand bookings besides. This onsite stand rebooking success resonates clearly through our satisfied exhibitors and visitors. The General Manager of the Nanshan Group Mr. Rence Cheng shared his thoughts: “Each and every edition of ALUMINIUM CHINA are undoubtedly the largest and highest level aluminium industry event in China, but the 2007 event exceeded even our expectations in terms of the number of international and local visiting customers. We firmly believe that continuing to exhibit at the show will ensure our leading export and local sales figures.” Turina McClelland representing Wagstaff shares this view: “Visitor Quality and Quantity are even better than last year. We are very satisfied with the show and have already booked an even bigger stand for ALUMINIUM CHINA 2008.” The general manager of Guangda Aluminium Mr. Dan Zhonghu shared his perspective as a visitor of the show: “I have gained tremendously through my visit; I’ve visited all the companies I’ve came to see and also explored potential cooperation deals with companies like Chengda, Tianzhong and Siemens VAI.”
At the event, Gary Liu, the Vice President of Reed Exhibitions China reveals that in order to cater for the surging interest and high expectations of the exhibitors for further business opportunities, ALUMINIUM CHINA 2008 will take the world aluminium community to ‘the world’s factory’ the Guangdong Province, China in 2008 for a massive market opening edition of ALUMINIUM CHINA in the Canton fair venue in Guangzhou in May.
