ALUMINIUM 2008 enlarging its theme pavilions - The first pavilion for the primary industry

10/08/2007
Demand for stand space at ALUMINIUM 2008 (23 - 25 September in Essen, Germany) is exceeding all expectations: one year before the fair is due to start, 498 exhibitors from 39 nations have already registered for participation. This gives ALUMINIUM a good chance of reaching new exhibitor records in 2008. Demand is particularly high for stand space on the theme pavilions which will be extended considerably for the coming event, both in terms of size and equipment.

Pavilion for primary production

In order to provide an even better presentation of the value chain, ALUMINIUM 2008 will extend its theme pavilion concept: a new Primary Pavilion will feature alumina and aluminium production technologies. Its target group are all suppliers and technology providers for the primary industry including, among others, smelting technology suppliers.

The Primary Pavilion will supplement the already well-established Foundry, World of Surface and Welding Pavilions. After the very positive echo at the last fair and due to high demand from the industry, the Foundry Pavilion will be even bigger next year. On an enlarged area of almost 400 m2, 20 exhibitors from the foundry sector will present themselves. Demand for exhibition space in the Surface Pavilion is similarly high: The “World auf Surface“ will also be extended.

Sales have meanwhile begun for the Welding Pavilion. The joint stand has space for 15 exhibitors. Its target group are companies in the field of aluminium welding, supplier of plant, equipment, accessories and processes for joining, separating and coating aluminium.
