Launch of ALUMINIUM INDIA 2008

09/05/2007
Reed Exhibitions India (RXI) and Dr. Nilmani, Managing Director of NCS Associates (Australia) Pty Ltd are delighted to announce that Reed Exhibitions India have acquired the internationally respected conference and exhibition on Aluminium cast house, rolling & extrusion technology known as Alcastek. Alcastek will now be a part of the newly launched “ALUMINIUM INDIA”- International exhibition and leading edge conference scheduled from the 22nd-24th February, 2008 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

Alcastek, a biennial conference & exhibition, has been in existence for past 5 years and, over the time, has established itself as India’s premier forum for debate and analysis of current technical issues affecting the domestic & global Aluminium industry. Dr. Madhukar Nilmani, Alcastek’s founder, said ‘ I am pleased that we have been able to join with Reed Exhibitions in developing Alcastek as part of the ALUMINUM INDIA project, we look forward to building on Alcastek’s reputation and success in India’s exciting and growing market for Aluminium’.

Reed Exhibitions already have an established presence in the global Aluminium sector with world leading forums like ALUMINIUM World Trade Fair & Conference in Germany, ALUMINIUM CHINA in Shanghai and an ALUMINIUM International Pavilion at Expo Aluminio Brazil in Sao Paulo. ALUMINIUM in Germany is the world’s leading trade fair for the Aluminium industry. It has developed with 685 exhibitors into the sector's No. 1 event since its launch in 1997. Its unique status stems from the fact that the fair covers the Aluminium industry's entire value chain, spotlighting innovative solutions for all application areas. ALUMINIUM 2006 at Essen, Germany was spread over 55,000 sqm of gross area and 15,270 visitors from over 95 countries.

Continuing the internationalization of ALUMINIUM from Germany to China & Brazil, ALUMINIUM INDIA 2008 is thus poised to offer the international aluminium industry the opportunity to present itself in one of the fastest developing economies of the world.
