ALUMINIUM is the world’s leading trade fair for the aluminium industry. Since its start 1997 the fair has developed to the number one meeting place world-wide. The uniqueness of the show results from the fact, that it represents the entire value chain offering solutions for the aluminium industry and all applications fields.

Aluminium producers, aluminium processors as well as suppliers of technologies and accessories for aluminium production, processing and refinement meet their buyers within 3 days in Essen.

More than 16,000 international trade visitors look for solutions and technologies not only from producers of the raw material but also processors, refiners, suppliers for the automotive or building industry e.g. producers of sections, suppliers of the latest technologies for e.g. extrusion, heat treatment, casting, sawing or surface refinement.

ALUMINIUM has developed to the subcontracting fair for the most important application fields of this material.

For established exhibitors, ALUMINIUM represents an ideal marketing tool: 

  • roughly 89% of the exhibitors were satisfied with the last event
  • 44.5% of the exhibitors stated that the number of business contacts they made at ALUMINIUM 2006 was higher than the 2004 figure
  • Over 90 % of the stand space for the last ALUMINIUM has already been firmly booked for the next event.

  • 93% of the 15,270 visitors at ALUMINIUM 2006 were involved in making investment and purchasing decisions for their company. One in four visitors worked in R&D and was looking for innovative product solutions at the fair.
  • 33% of the visitors came to the fair with a firm intention to purchase.
  • 70.9% of the visitors placed direct orders during ALUMINIUM 2006 or planned to do so immediately after the event
  • 84% of the exhibition visitors stated that they had made useful contacts at the event.
  • High degree of satisfaction with the fair: 83.5% percent of the visitors surveyed gave ALUMINIUM a "very good" or "good" rating.
